What Versecraft stores in your browser, why, and how to change your mind.
The short version
Versecraft stores one small item to remember your choice about analytics. Nothing else is stored unless you accept analytics, and nothing you write in the exercises ever leaves your browser.
What is always stored
| Name | Where | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
versecraft-cookie-consent | Local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, and when you decided. Without it you would be asked on every visit. | 182 days, after which you are asked again |
This one is strictly necessary — it exists only to honour the choice you made, so it is set whichever way you decide.
What is stored only if you accept analytics
Analytics is not currently configured on this deployment, so no analytics cookies can be set and no measurement is taking place.
Error reporting
Versecraft sends JavaScript errors to Sentry so that a page which breaks in your browser is something we find out about. Sentry sets no cookies and reads nothing from your device, and it is configured not to record your IP address, your browser headers, or the contents of any field. Because it stores nothing on your device it is not part of the choice above — and gating it on consent would mean the errors most worth knowing about, the ones that break the page before you can click anything, are the ones we would never see.
Change your mind
You have not made a choice yet, so analytics is switched off.
Who is responsible
Versecraft is built and operated by AIntelligent Technologies, which is the data controller for anything described on this page. Google Analytics and Sentry act as processors. Sentry data is held in its EU region.
